Troop 399 is a relatively young Troop, having been chartered in 1979 by Seton Parish in Pickerington.  The Troop is small by some standards, with 23 Scouts at the present time.  This allows the boys to get to know each other easily, and enables them to work as a unit more efficiently.  Our monthly activities include Troop meetings, camping, hiking, ski trips, YMCA overnighters, bike hikes, canoe trips, whitewater raft trips, bowling, and service projects.  Recent tours have included Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, ONN TV studios and Port Columbus control tower.  Summer camps have included many camps in Ohio, plus Owasippe Scout Reservation/Camp Blackhawk in Muskegon, Michigan and Blue Ridge Mountains Scout Reservation/Camp Powhatan in Pulaski, Virginia.  The summer camp planned for July 2005 is Woodland Trails near Dayton, Ohio. 

  Troop 399 meets twice monthly, on Friday nights at 7:00 at Seton Parish.  During the winter months we meet in classroom 4,  from May through September we meet outside at the Parish Shelter House.
